This page is maintained by the Barren County Contractors Association (“BCCA”) to explain how information submitted through this directory site is collected and used. It is not a legal contract.
What we collect
- Business listing details you (or a member) submit: business name, contact name, phone, email, website, services, bio, and logo or project photos.
- Feature-submission content: stories, testimonials, social links, and photos you upload for marketing features.
- Update requests sent through the directory's update form.
We do not knowingly collect information from visitors who are just browsing the directory beyond standard server logs.
How we use it
- To display member businesses publicly in this directory so Barren County residents can find local contractors.
- To produce member feature articles, social posts, and other BCCA marketing content.
- For internal BCCA communication with members about their listing.
What is public vs. private
Anything shown on a member's directory card (business name, phone, email, website, services) is public. Information submitted for feature stories may be used in BCCA marketing materials. Update requests go only to BCCA staff.
Who we share it with
BCCA does not sell submitted information. We use service providers to host this site, store submissions, and deliver email — those providers only process information on BCCA's behalf.
Removing or updating your listing
Members can request changes or removal at any time by emailing info@bcca-ky.org or using the directory's update request form.
